LSC 1503 - Final reflection

LSC1503-communication skills

I learnt a lot from the Spoken English class. It helped me in my major because Media needs people who can speak and communicate with other people to ask them and cooperate with each other. We used to talk and speak with each other in the class. We also practiced some techniques in making presentations in front of many audiences, which gives us more brave to break the wall between the presenter and his audiences. Spoken English is important to increase your self-esteem, because once you try to proof yourself wherever you are, this will higher your place and job class. People, especially those who are working in media, need to be good speakers to communicate and linked the people who are working with each other.

Spoken English help me widen my social networking and my relations with others, because I had increased my confidence to speak in English with many foreign people. As a media student, this course gives me a new way to interact and meet with new people in proscribed setting.  Once you can speak fluently in English, you can easily make interviews with any one you should work with in the future. Spoken English will increase your job opportunities, because it will be easy to work comfortably if I know how to talk and work with everyone in my job environment. That will give me also a chance to work abroad in case my future job needs to, because English in an international language that you will need everywhere you go.

To sum up, I enjoyed the Spoken English course because I end up having many learnt things. I recommended including like this course to the media students, because of all the benefits it has for them in their studies and future.
